Annual Report

We, along with other like-minded organisations, see an ever-present need for a Safe Shelter space for rough sleepers as something which would relieve stress and anxiety in the daily lives of many who have no home. The logistics involved in creating such a place prove to be beyond the current capacity of combined organisations.

 

Nevertheless, we continue to look at how this can become reality in Mandurah. We continue to look at meeting the needs of Mandurah’s homeless in ways that align with our reasons for existence. While there are many large-scale efforts towards eliminating homelessness, PeelConnect continues to recognise that our daily contribution to relieving immediate distress will remain our priority.
